Weekly Update

This is the last week of the first six weeks.

• In English, we are working on our college essay "zero drafts." The prompt is "Tell about a person who has impacted your life."

• In Yearbook, we are working on deadline one. Today we covered ad sales and created layouts for the sports and divider spreads.
• In Newspaper, we are working on the first issue.

Reminder: We don't have school on Friday.

• In English I, we are finishing our study of "The Scarlet Ibis" by writing a letter to one of the main characters letting him know how we feel about his actions in the story.
• In Journalism I, we are presenting our limits to free speech projects.
• In Yearbook, we are gathering information for our first deadline: October 23.
• In Newspaper, we are revising rough drafts and making our switch to publishing in a glossy magazine format.
